Volunteering

We receive help and support from people of Good will who wish to collaborate with the Munay-Ki Home Association, they can stay at our house, where they will receive lodging. The Association does not have financing to cover these expenses, so they must make a daily payment of $ 20.00 dollars. If your stay is long we can make a special price.

Requirements

• Minimum age 18 years
• Minimum period of stay 3 weeks
• Basic knowledge of the Spanish language
• Ability of adaptation and communication
• Good physical and mental health
• Bring much enthusiasm, creativity and initiative
• Fill out the admission form

Procedure for volunteering

We request that you send us a short bio indicating your interests and preferences which we will respond to by sending the application form, asking you to answer some basic questions, only basic information.

Once known the participant, she or he shall choose the program in which to participate. Some programs have limited spaces according to the date of the visit and we will confirm as soon as possible her or his participation.

Upon your arrival we will meet you at the airport or bus terminal, take you to the volunteers ‘house, we will organize your work and give you all the necessary prior information. There will be an introductory briefing with general information on the country, answers to doubts and questions, concerns and additional consultations that have come up along the way. The following day you will be taken and introduced to the program in which you will participate.

In order to be able to do a significant job, we request that the minimum stay last for 3 weeks, although exceptionally it could last for 15 days. At the end, if the desire is strong and time does not allow it, we are flexible with respect to the dates and period of stay.

If you have more than 3 weeks, it will be very beneficial for the programs and there is no maximum limit.

Participation in the volunteer program is free, but must pay minimum expenses to cover their accommodation and food, the project cannot meet the expenses that the volunteer generates.
