Volunteering

We receive help and support from people of good will who wish to collaborate with the Munay-ki Home Association, they can stay in our house, where they will receive lodging. The Association does not have financing to cover these expenses, so you will have to make a daily payment of $30.00 dollars. If your stay is prolonged, we can make a special price.

Requirements

• Minimum age 18 years old
• Minimum period of stay 3 weeks.
• Basic knowledge of Spanish
• Ability to adapt and communicate
• Good physical and mental health
• Enthusiasm, creativity and initiative.
• Fill out the admission form.

Procedures to become a volunteer

We ask you to send us a short resume, with concerns and preferences, then we respond by sending the application form, asking you to answer some questions, only basic information.

Once we know the participant, we will confirm or NOT your participation as soon as possible.

Upon arrival in Cusco we receive you at the airport and/or bus station, we drive you to the Munay-Ki Home Association, we organize your work and give you all the preliminary and necessary information, there will be an introductory meeting with general information about the country, we will answer doubts, questions, concerns and additional queries that arose on the way.

In order to do a meaningful work we request that the minimum time of stay is 3 weeks, exceptionally it could be 15 days, at the end if the desire is strong and the time does not allow it, we are flexible with respect to the dates and time of stay.

If you have more than 3 weeks, it will be very beneficial for the project, there is no maximum time.

The participation in the volunteer program is free of charge, but you will have to pay minimum expenses to cover your accommodation and food, the project cannot cover the expenses that the volunteer generates.
